The Day Fortnite Died, Darkiplier was Surgically Glad (The Host Too!)

The Host often walked around his block.
Now, everyone knows that the Host is a radio host, but most people
don't know that even though he is blind, he has echo location and
is capable of making out objetcs that are in his field of view.

So the Host enjoys coming out of the basement (in this head canon the
host does not live with his parents, and no one gave irrational
Christmas gifts, nor does the host have pets made of cardboard) and
walking around town.

Darkiplier gave up darking and though his new profession of rising
surgeon (he was a whiz with that cane after all) has saved many lives,
he checks on the host every so often.

Wilfred was a technical fellow, a genius if you will. He successfully
figured out how to get kids to stop playing fortnite, and was
the head of the committe of Parents Endeavoring And Chilling Everywhere.
The thing was, when the parents stopped being mad about fortnight,
the kids stopped caring. A lot of fortnight was played out of
rebellion, and when the parents got together and realzied that
they could just help each other understand the situation better,
the kids stopped playing. Every parent was given a pink moustache
as a momento of the night that fortnight went offline.

Darkiplier received a text from Wilfred. Unbeknowst to Darkiplier,
Wilfred had a cousin named Natasha who had a nephew named Daniel.

And this did not involve blunt force trauma in the slightest. It involved
a text that Wilfred sent to Darkiplier about something more miraculous
than snow in Night Vale! Daniel was playing Roblox! But not permanantly,
of course. Daniel needed something to fill in the gap. And he found a
creative outlet in roblox. In fact, a couple of years later he turned
down an offer to join the team. Daniel said that he only needed Roblox
for a little while. But that was okay.

Darkiplier was walking down the stairs at the Twoson Hospital where
he worked. The clear, pristine near aqua colored glass shone merrily
and created a warm atmosphere. Darkiplier would have been out of his
element were he still darking it up and blinding people into becoming
hosts, but he was more interested in saving lives now. Besides, his skill
at swinging a cane was legendary and many lives had been saved because
his wrists could micro move a scalpel precisely where it needed to go.

Minnie Feng, a resident nurse, smiled at Darkiplier as he walked down the
stairs. Darkiplier simply smiled back and walked on. He was well liked
in his new profession. He was just glad that Daniel wasn't playing Fortnight
anymore.
